Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Below are some common questions about our products.
How are Nudo™ Lash Extensions different from regular strip lashes?
Nudo™ Cluster Lashes have a clear, ultra-fine almost invisible lash band making them much more lightweight, comfortable, and undetectable than a strip lash. They are applied under your natural lashes to blend seamlessly as opposed to on top. Nudo™ Lash Extensions can also last up to 7-14 days whereas strip lashes are one time use.
Will I struggle with these if I am not good at applying regular strip lashes?
Nudo™ Lash Extensions are designed for both the experienced and beginners with our easy at home application. It may take a few trials to get used to the technique, however after 2-3 times of application you will know what works for you.
Follow our How To Guide with detailed step by step instructions, tips, and aftercare to prolong each wear!
Can I wear Nudo™ Lash Extensions if my natural lashes are short or straight?
Yes, as long as you have natural lashes for the Nudo™ Cluster Lashes to adhere to. We recommend curling your natural lashes before application if you have straight lashes to lift your natural lashes for easier application.
Will Nudo™ Lash Extensions damage my natural lashes?
No, our Nudo™ Cluster Lashes are virtually weightless and are designed so that the weight is distributed onto multiple natural lashes (compared to salon lash extensions where several lashes adhere onto each individual natural lash) which relieves the weight on your natural lashes, making them damage free.
Can you feel Nudo™ Lash Extensions on your eye?
No, you should not be able to feel the Nudo™ Cluster Lashes at all. If you can feel discomfort or irritation it means it is not placed correctly and/or too close to your waterline. If this happens, simply remove and reposition until comfortable.
Can I use Nudo™ Lash Extensions if I’m allergic to salon lash extension glue and/or have sensitive eyes?
Our Nudo™ products are made for sensitive eyes, with zero harsh chemicals such as cynoacrylate or formaldehyde, which are found in salon lash extension glue and the usual cause of allergies.
We recommend checking our product ingredients found on each of our product pages and refrain from using any products containing ingredients you may be allergic to, and we always recommend patch testing before use.
Can I use mascara with Nudo™ Lash Extensions?
No, we do not recommend wearing mascara either before or after applying Nudo™ Lash Extensions.
Can I shower, wash my face, and remove makeup as usual while wearing Nudo™ Lash Extensions?
Yes, however we recommend using a face cloth and clean around the eye area carefully to avoid getting the Nudo™ Lash Extensions fully soaked. Avoid using oil-based products around your eye as this will break down the Nudo™ Lash Bond. Clamp and reseal your lashes as part of your daily routine to prolong the wear of your lash extensions.
Are Nudo™ Lash Extensions waterproof?
The Nudo™ Lash Bond is water-resistant, meaning it can get wet but we recommend avoid getting your lashes fully soaked and keep lashes dry for 24 hours after application to prolong each wear.
If you do get them wet allow them to air dry, then clamp and reseal your lashes to secure the hold.
How long do Nudo™ Lash Extensions last?
You can apply and remove daily, or wear for up to 7-14 days. It’s all a matter of preference, lifestyle, application, skin and/or eyelid oiliness, and lash aftercare.
Check out our How To Guide for tips and aftercare to prolong each wear.
Why are the Nudo™ Cluster Lashes not staying on?
We always recommend following our How To Guide for detailed step by step instructions, tips, and aftercare to prolong each wear. It may take a few trials to get used to the technique, however after 2-3 times of application you will know what works for you.
Below is a list of reasons why your Nudo™ Cluster Lashes may not be staying on:
- Getting Nudo™ lashes wet and not clamping and re-sealing them after
- Using an oil based cleanser, skin care, or makeup around your eye
- Your natural lashes and Nudo™ Cluster Lashes are not clean from all moisturisers and oils before applying
- If you have straight lashes, curl your natural lashes before applying so that they sit closer together with the curl of Nudo™ Cluster Lashes
- Allow the Nudo™ Bond to become sticky before applying the Nudo™ Cluster Lash
- Don't attach the Nudo™ Cluster Lashes too close to the skin or waterline, this will feel uncomfortable and your eyes will become watery
- Nudo™ Bond won't be able to set if your eyes are watery, use a mini fan or start again when your eyes are not watering
- Using the right amount of Nudo™ Bond is key. Not enough bond will not allow the cluster lash to stick to your natural lashes, and too much bond will take longer for it to dry and constantly moving your eyes/blinking will not allow it to set
- Nudo™ lash style or lash length chosen is too heavy or long for your natural lashes
Can I overlap the Nudo™ Cluster Lashes when applying?
Yes, we recommend slightly overlapping each cluster to prolong the wear.
What should I do if one Nudo™ Cluster Lash loosens or falls off?
There is no need to remove a complete set, simply reapply Nudo™ Lash Bond at the root of your natural lashes (and directly on the band of the cluster lash for extra hold), clamp, and reseal your lashes.
I removed the Nudo™ Cluster Lashes and noticed some natural lashes have fallen out?
There should be no damage to your natural lashes when Nudo™ Lash Extensions are applied and removed correctly. Your natural lashes shed daily and each individual lash has its own life cycle of 60-90 days, so if they appear to come out with the Nudo™ Cluster Lash it was just their time to fall out.
Can I reuse Nudo™ Cluster Lashes?
Yes, our Nudo™ Cluster Lashes are reusable if taken care of properly between uses. Clean them thoroughly after removal with a makeup remover and then with an oil-free cleanser. Pop them back in the lash tray and allow them to air dry before reapplying.
What are Nudo™ Cluster Lashes made from?
Our Nudo™ Cluster Lashes are made from high quality, premium PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) fibre. All our lashes, adhesives, and removers are hypoallergenic, 100% vegan, and animal cruelty free.
What should I do if I’ve had an allergic reaction to a Nudo™ product?
Nudo™ Beauty disclaims any liability for skin reactions. We recommend checking our product ingredients found on each of our product pages and refrain from using any products containing ingredients you may be allergic to, and we always recommend patch testing before use.
If irritation or allergic reaction occurs, rinse the area immediately with warm water and stop using the product. If irritation persists, please seek medical advice.
